The East Gallery hosts an exhibit by the members of the California College of the Arts Alumni Association, juried by Philip E. Linhares, Chief Curator of Art at the Oakland Museum of California, and organized by Exhibition Coordinator Ron Tanovitz, Chair of the CCA Alumni Exhibitions Committee of the CCA Alumni Council. The Council organizes two to three exhibitions each year in public spaces throughout the Bay Area. Past venues have included the Mills Building, San Francisco; EDAW, San Francisco; Oakland City Hall; The Alice Arts Center, Oakland; The Grey Whale Inn, Fort Bragg; Oakland Airport; Andrea Schwartz Gallery, San Francisco. The CCA Alumni Association constitutes a remarkable network of over 15,000 professionals working in art, architecture, design, writing and a range of related fields. Noted alumni include painters Nathan Oliveira and Raymond Saunders; ceramicists Robert Arneson, Viola Frey, and Peter Voulkos; filmmaker Wayne Wang; conceptual artists David Ireland and Dennis Oppenheim; and designers Lucille Tenazas and Michael Vanderbyl.

wit, and far-reaching vision of their creators. The CCA alumni artists
