The 110 SamTrans bus has a stop at Linda Mar Blvd and Alicante Drive, followed by a flat 5 minute walk to the Sanchez Art Center.
Biking in Pacifica is increasingly popular. Crespi Drive is a bicycle boulevard with pavement markings to designate it.
Linda Mar Blvd. east of Adobe, has a designated Class II bike lane.
Currently there are no formal racks at the center, though there are places to secure your bike while you enjoy the exhibitions.
From San Francisco:
Take Highway 280 South to Highway 1, Pacifica exit. Follow Highway 1 South to Linda Mar Boulevard. Turn left on Linda Mar Boulevard (next light after Crespi) and follow it East for approximately 1.5 miles (past the Sanchez Adobe). The Pacifica Center for the Arts is on your right. You will see our large mural on the side of the building. It takes 30 minutes from downtown San Francisco-if there is no traffic.
From the Peninsula:
From the Peninsula, take 280 North to Skyline Boulevard / State Route 35 (Exit 41). Continue on Skyline Boulevard approximately 2.5 miles to Sharp Park Road. Turn left at Sharp Park Road, and proceed approximately 1.7 miles down the hill. At the T-intersection, turn onto Francisco Blvd. Remain in the right hand lane to merge onto CA Highway 1 heading south. Stay on Highway 1 for about 4 miles. You will pass Rockaway Beach (hotels and shops) on your right. Turn left on Linda Mar Boulevard (next light after Crespi Dr) and follow it east for about a mile (past the Sanchez Adobe and the fire station). The Pacifica Center for the Arts is on your right.
