The West Gallery is home turf for
the Art Guild of Pacifica, whose members will exhibit their work
in a group show entitled Element. This show includes artwork
about the many different meanings of this theme, such as: one of
the four simple substances, usually earth, water, air, and fire;
element as a component or constituent part of a whole; a sphere
or environment adapted to any person or thing (i.e., to be in one’s
element); and many other creative expressions of Element.
Sanchez Art Center is located at 1220-B
Linda Mar Blvd., Pacifica, CA, 1.5 miles east of Highway 1, in the
building with the colorful mural. Following the Feb. 25 opening
from 7 to 9 pm, galleries will be open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
from 1 to 5 pm.
