The Art Guild of Pacifica offers its
annual holiday Galleria at Sanchez Art Center, beginning
with an Opening Night Gala on Friday, Dec. 4, 7–9 pm. The Galleria
is then open to visitors Saturdays and Sundays, Dec. 5–6 and Dec.
12–13, 1–5 pm, providing an ideal holiday shopping experience. Music
for the opening night will be provided by studio artist Wayne Jiang
on dulcimer and Lara Garner on harp.
Galleria
provides a showcase for many local artists to share their creations
by renting a section of wall space to show their work, or by participating
in the salon-style exhibition. In all three galleries, you can purchase
the art right off the wall. Galleria is the perfect place
to find unique items for the special people in your life, in a relaxed
and welcoming atmosphere. Don’t forget to gift yourself as well!
All three galleries will be filled with artwork, including small
gift items such as cards, ornaments, ceramics, and books.
In Galleria,
the Art Guild of Pacifica creates a wonderful place to spend an
afternoon looking at art and talking with the artists, including
those Sanchez studio artists who open their studios during this
time. You may find some real treasures here, so make Galleria
your first gift-buying stop, and enjoy artful holidays!
