The
Art Guild of Pacifica exhibit, Seeing Red, is the perfect
complement to Rosemary Allen’s Color in the Main Gallery.
The West Gallery will resonate with the warmth of the color red
in many forms and variations as Art Guild members share their interpretations
of this theme. Think of how many of our expressions use the word
red: Red in the face, caught red-handed, in the red, red tape, paint
the town red, a red flag, red herring, a red-letter day, red hot
. . . you get the idea. Red is the color of passion, of hearts and
love, which we celebrate on February 14, Valentine’s Day.
            Sanchez Art Center
is located at 1220 Linda Mar Boulevard in Pacifica, 1.5 miles east
of Highway 1. Following opening night, the galleries are open Friday,
Saturday, and Sunday, 1–5 pm, and by appointment, through February
              21. For information about the Art Guild of Pacifica, visit www.artguildofpacifica.org. |
