| The
Fog Fest Invitational is a wonderful and varied presentation of
photography by award winners and judges from 2015’s Fog Fest Photo
Contest. The works capture nature and the scenic beauty of Pacifica,
as well as the liveliness of people caught in motion or in attitudes
of stillness. Some are color photographs, and some are black-and-white,
which has its own mystery and appeal. Contest judge Edwin
Hacking will share images of surreal landscapes from his recent
trip to Iceland, while contest judge Alan
Grinberg will explore connections between atmosphere, astronomy,
and illusion.
Sanchez Art Center
is located at 1220 Linda Mar Boulevard in Pacifica, 1.5 miles east
of Highway 1. Following opening night, the galleries are open Friday,
Saturday, and Sunday, 1–5 pm, and by appointment, through February
